Mr. M.C Thakur is also the proud owner of first commercial cottage establishment of Manali i.e Holiday Cottages Manali, that was built in 1994. Mr Thakur is one of the most experienced and successful hotelier in the region with his engagement in the hospitality sector for over 23 years. Spacious rooms, atmospheric restaurant, beautiful lounge, rustic-style reception area, elevator, banquet facilities, meeting rooms and wellness area round up a rich and pleasing variety of offers.

Holiday Heights is the newest addition to the Holiday family of cottages and resorts. Holiday Heights Manali is run by a local family headed by Mr. M.C Thakur, who has a over a decade of experience in hospitality services. Holiday Heights Manali is managed by experienced professionals who have more than decade of experience in tourism and hospitality services.

Holiday Family of cottages and hotels was started as a home stay venture by Mr. MC Thakur a visionary. Seeing that Manali had suddenly become a hot tourist spot, he built the first ‘Holiday Cottage’ with three bed rooms in the year 1994. The cottage used to be rented out to families for months together who would prefer their own cooks.

He subsequently built another cottage in year 2000 with three more rooms and expanded further with another cottage with four bed rooms in the year 2005.

Fourth Holiday Cottages with four bed rooms cottage was started in the year 2008 and one more 4 bed room cottage was started August 2008 and another 4 & 2 bed rooms cottage was started in the year 2010. In the year 2010 Holiday Cottages was awarded Excellence in Services award by global site Trip Advisor. And has subsequently been awarded Certificate of Excellence by Tripadvisor in the years 2010,11,13,14 and 15.
